We have had a look at the following two threads and were wondering if any progress has been made in the ways of saving partial surveys to be completed at a later stage?

Hello community! Over the years, we have heard users requesting that CHT should have a feature that allows the CHV to partially complete a report, save it as a draft and later come back to complete. This is mostly the case when a CHV does not have/get full information during a HH visit, especially when conducting follow-up via phone. Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this cc. @Jenny @were @kunwarl @raymond @aziz_kane @loukman

Session save for the form

Dear team, Have any one tried saving the session of questionnaire and resuming back to where is left other than review and edit. ( questionnaire are bit longer and takes more than the usual time). Will appreciate your input. cc @Arun_Sahani @nitin @kunwarl @binod

This is still an open discussion. I think Jenni’s response here still probably best encapsulates our current position. Broadly speaking, Enketo does support the idea of saving/reloading the state of a form (and we leverage this for the “Edit Report” functionality). Unfortunately, I believe that the functionality referenced in your linked forum post is specific to Kobo. It would be technically possible (from the Enekto perspective) to build similar functionality in the CHT, but integrating it properly with the rest of the CHT functionality would be complex (as previously noted).
