We are trying to build a data collection app from the CHT Core. We needed the in-app notification feature for this asap.
@Sabyasachi_Upadhyay welcome! Notifications in the CHT are typically driven via Tasks. This allows for configuring sophisticated user workflows.
On the current CHT version, users receive in-app notifications for tasks that are due. However, there is active development happening to also support pushing these task notifications to the Android notification tray.

@jkuester posted all the relevant links! I’d only add a minor update that a neat feature, Task prioritization, is only available in the latest CHT version (4.21 as of this writing). Be sure you’re current if you want to take advantage of this powerful feature! As well, if you’re current, you’ll be that much more prepared for the aforementioned Android notification tray feature.
