Form styling is not applied in choices

I am trying to change the color of choices for a question by following this documentation. But this is what I get

Not sure what might be issue but I found similar question posted in ODK Forum here. As suggested in the post, could you please try following and check if it would work?

Hey @niraj I tried the option that you recommend but it did not work. However, I was digging and then landed on this issue. I think that’s why it is not working
