It’s been almost a year since 4.0.0 was released which means the 3.x version will reach the end of its supported life in November. What this means is from then on there will be no more bugs fixed or patches made available for any of the 3.x versions including the latest 3.17.1. If you or anyone you know is still running a 3.x CHT project, now is the time to schedule the upgrade.
The good news is over the last year 4.x has been proven in production environments and continuously improved so that the recent 4.3.0 release is the most scalable, stable, and secure version to date.
