We’ve recently completed 1 of 6 contact-move requests from our 1 NPO, resulting in the neighbourhood of 205 dwellings being shifted into new spaces. While everything looks correct via the UI, and in SQL, we found the logs stating that 0 reports were moved. At all.
This is despite numerous reports being present on the households and individuals within the dwellings. Some of the reports are more than 7 months old.
We’re hoping to get an idea of how the count works to better estimate if we’ll be able to action future contact-move requests. When are reports considered?
We have the following hierarchy structure:
NPO
– Team Area
— Indawo
---- Dwelling
----- Household
------ Reports
------ Household member
------- Reports
Reports are only moved if the submitter of the report (the CHW) has been moved and has updated lineage.
If you are only moving patients and households, and not the chw submitter contact, then no reports will need any changes.
That’s very interesting. So despite the dwellings, under the Indawo (the parent place of the CHW), getting moved to an entirely different Indawo, the reports get “moved” with it from a UI perspective - but the report doesn’t undergo any update.
So the contact value, as can be seen in the report excerpt, does not refer to the entire hierarchy of the place/person the report is captured on - rather it points to the CHW.
