Glad to have you Kitsao ![]()
Welcome @kalama_kitsao and @kanarelo your arrival is very timely - AI is an emerging topic and CHT is at greatest scale in supporting the national eCHIS there in Kenya. I anticipate further conversations to come…
Thank you @dykki. Glad to have you have us. Looking forward to such discussions around this very topic and the type of work we are scoping to do around this very area, especially in the Kenyan context.
Thanks so much again.

Hello everyone,
My name is Javier Perez, and I’m a software development professional with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of taking on various roles across different industries, and I am grateful for the opportunity to now support this community through Edify.
Edify is a mid-sized software consulting company based in Costa Rica. We are also committed to supporting non-profit projects that align with our mission and values.
On behalf of everyone at Edify, we are honored to be a part of this community and hope our contributions will have a positive impact on many lives.
Thank you all for your support.
Hi All, I have recently started exploring open source projects and cht-conf was the first repo I forked ![]()
It felt like a breath of fresh air to work on something outside my usual day-to-day. Looking forward to connecting with you all and excited to be part of the CHT community!
Hi all, I am David Levine, a professor at UC Berkeley. My team is trying to build AI solutions that integrate with CHT in supporting CHWs. Our approach uses AI to create a first draft of clinical data collection and decision tables based solely on local CHW training manuals and guidelines. Doctors review these easy-to-read decision tables prior to deployment. At runtime, all logic uses XLSForms that are deterministic and fully on-device. The same AI makes it easy to update guidelines for MD review.
We are looking for partners so together we can develop AI tools that support the CHT community.
Hello,
I’m very glad to discover this community. My name is Ginette JOB, and I am a PhD candidate from Benin. My research focuses on improving cardiovascular telemonitoring in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a specific focus on Benin and Senegal. I am in my final year and currently working on proposing architectural models adapted to underserved areas to support effective cardiovascular telemonitoring. I also aim to integrate available digital tools into my architecture to ensure that my proposals follow interoperability standards.
I would appreciate any contribution that could help me succeed in this project, and I am eager to learn new knowledge and skills.
Thank you.
Hi everyone, I am Fatima Elias, a health informatics specialist based in North Plainfield, New Jersey, USA, with Sierra Leonean heritage. I am the founder of Kushé Health, PBC, and I am building Kushé — a mobile-first, offline-capable community health registry designed specifically for Sierra Leone. Kushé gives every patient a persistent, QR-coded health record that travels with them across facilities, with a strong focus on community health worker workflows, sickle cell disease management, maternal health, and pediatric care. The CHW role is genuinely central to the platform because I believe the community health worker is an important part of Sierra Leone’s health system. I joined the CHT forum to connect with developers, implementers, and global health professionals of similar thought, and to find collaborators who have built for the realities of last-mile health delivery in Sub-Saharan Africa. I am actively seeking a Flutter developer with offline-first experience to bring Phase 1 to life, and I would love to hear from anyone who has deployed digital health tools in West Africa or worked with CHW programs in similar settings. You can learn more at https://kushehealth.org and I look forward to being part of this community.
