This document outlines a high-level technical design which has been proposed toward the completion of the “Tasks and Targets improvements v2” feature requests from the Q4-2019 Product Planning document.
It is a working draft which is subject to change. Some high-level design decisions remain open, particularly those relating to a proposed task emission schema change.
Development is scheduled to begin in the CHT v3.8 release. Your questions, suggestions, and feedback are most welcomed!
