Hello!

I’m excited to be facilitating the upcoming Dev Demo Hour on Oct 2nd at 4:00 pm EAT/ 1:00 pm GMT and am looking for members of the community who are interested in presenting!

@shashi_sah - I saw your post on doing CHT Development in Github Codespaces. Are you available to do a short presentation on how this works for you and some of the benefits and drawbacks?

@binod - you and I were talking the other day about how you run the CHT on a Raspberry Pi. Are you available to do a short presentation on how this works for you and some of the benefits and drawbacks?

@diana - are you free to demonstrate how we’re considering docs_by_replication_key view from couch to Nouveau? I think folks would be interested to know about how this idea came about and how it’s leveraging a feature in 5.0 and what the benefits might be.

Unfortunately, I will be on leave next week and won’t be able to attend the session.

My Raspberry Pi CHT set up is a simple one using the docker-helper scripts. If it’s still interesting, let’s save it for another time.

Thanks so much @Jose_Carvajal - and welcome to the forums!

We were talking about you presenting about your experience developing with the docs and adding a new feature. I’m imaging a lot folks will be curious about more common process of setting up your development environment for the docs site to make edits and know exactly how they’ll look.

As well, you’re one of the few people who has made a feature change to the docs site - so you’ll have an especially interesting presentation!

I encourage folks to watch 3m 30s video with tech demo tips - I suspect you know most of them, but just in case there’s some ideas you didn’t know! (Ignore OBS specific info :sweat_smile: )

@shashi_sah - let me know if you’re available! If I don’t hear back by the end of tomorrow (Fri Sep 26th) - I’ll look for another presenter. If you’re still interested we’d love to have you on the next Dev Demo hour though!

@diana and @Jose_Carvajal - I’ll be joining 10 min early on the call in hopes y’all are free to join early as well. That way we can all do mic checks and screen share checks!
