How to detect number of children for a place?

I would basically like to get the number of Household Members and number of pregnant Household members when filling an app form called ‘HH-Form-X’. HH-Form-X is opened at the Household level.

Is this possible?

**What feature do you want to improve?** In the contact-summary there's no way …to check the number of items that have been captured under a parent. For example, the amount of household members captured for a household. **Describe the improvement you'd like** I would like to expose the children of a contact and use it to verify the enumerated items against the expected amount. What does your workflow look like?

Hi @diana thanks for the reply.

Here’s a paraphrasing of my workflow:

It’s a commodity distribution campaign form. So let’s say commodity is ‘malaria nets’.

When chp opens commodity distribution campaign form, they will need to:

Ask how many people are in the household. e.g CHP fills in 5 people, if there are only 3 people registered in the household on the app, the app form needs to flag this and say something like ‘There are only 3 people registered in the household. Would you like to register the remaining people?’
If there are 5 people in the household and you input there are only 2 nets in the family, the app form should show that there isn’t enough nets in the household.
We would like to automatically detect number of pregnant women. If there are 2 already registered in the household, we need to specifically ask if the pregnant women have 2 dedicated nets.

So what we wanted was to automate some of this verification.
