June was a fantastic month for the CHT Community. It was marked by new collaborations, shipping of two new CHT core releases and growing contributions from the community.
This post celebrates what we achieved last month and recognizes the organizations and individuals who helped make it happen!
Community Highlights
No-Code CHT Configuration Squad launched
We kicked off a new community squad focused on making the CHT easier to configure for non-technical users. The team is currently shaping the technical design for a no-code configuration experience. Huge thanks to the C-SHARP, Sentinel, ComBaCaL, SwissTPH, the University of California, Berkeley, Medic and Medic Afya teams for leading this effort.
Welcoming our C4GT mentees
We were delighted to welcome @Megha and @vikrantwiz02 through the Code for Govtech Dedicated Mentoring Program. Over the coming months, they’ll be working on two impactful projects: improving Bikram Sambat support in the CHT and adding new APIs for advanced contact management. We’re thrilled to have them building and collaborating with the community.
Two new CHT releases
June also saw the release of CHT v5.1.3 and CHT v5.2.0. Version 5.2 brings lots of new capabilities, including:
- Collapsible contact summaries
- UI extensions
- Search in the Task page
- User replication improvements
- Task telemetry enhancements
We can’t wait to see how implementers put these new features to work.
