Issue Syncing on CHT V3.15 (Database Closed)

CHT on mobile App abruptly stops and displays this error message

preventing data synchronization and forcing users to uninstall and reinstall the application, resulting in data loss.

This issue, initially rare and affecting only a few ASC who did not synchronize regularly, has recently become more frequent and now impacts a larger number of people.

Do you have experience with this issue or any idea of what might be happening? We have not yet had access to a phone to retrieve its logs.

So, the translation for the databased_closed error message is:

An unexpected error occurred and the application must be reloaded.

These seems like the same error described here:

Please see that thread and the linked issues for more information, but TLDR is that the best thing would be to try and update the version of WebView on the device.

@Gilbert - I’m so sorry you’re having an error that’s causing data loss! That sounds really frustrating. Let’s try and debug what’s going on!

First, you’re missing a translation for database_closed.title and database_closed.description. If we look in the translation file, we see this means:

Unexpected error: An unexpected error occurred and the application must be reloaded.
Cancel . . Reload

For sure getting client side logs will be helpful, but all else being equal, it sounds like you have the issue discussed in this forum thread. Please see that thread for suggested fixes.
