In the past three days, the Community Health Impact Coalition came together to outline the urgent actions needed globally in this paper: Priorities for the Global COVID-19 Response. As a group of frontline implementers accompanying governments and committed to health equity, we focused on what is needed right now and next with the following goals:
- Protect health care workers
- Interrupt the virus
- Maintain existing health care services while surging capacity
- Shield the most vulnerable from socioeconomic shocks
