Following the CHT’s support policy, version 5.0.0 is no longer supported. Projects running this version should start planning to upgrade in the near future. For more details read the CHT software support documentation.
5.2.0 Highlights
Collapsable contact summaries
Contact summary cards can be collapsed or expanded by tapping their headers.
Tab customizations
The order of the header tabs in the app can now be customized, allowing for control over which tab a user sees first when opening the app.
UI Extensions
App developers can now build configurable pages in the CHT application.
Search Field in Tasks UI
Entries on the “Tasks” tab can be filtered via a free-text search feature.
Identify users with replication failures
New API endpoints make it easy to identify users who have had replication failures or who have not successfully replicated within a configurable time interval.
Upgrade to CouchDB 3.5.2
The new database version brings a ~60% performance improvement for Nouveau indexing - the technology which powers the CHT replication algorithm and online full-text searches as well as several bug fixes.
New REST apis for persons, places, and reports
New REST endpoints have been added to the CHT server for creating and updating persons, places, and reports.
