2025 Q1 forum engagement and community contribution highlights

The CHT forum is an open space where community members get support, share insights and learn from peers to enrich their knowledge, skills and experience. This post aims to share highlights of the 2025 Q1 forum engagement and valuable community member contributions.

1. Q1 forum engagement metrics.
In 2025 Q1, we witnessed an increase in the CHT forum engagement, which signifies strengthened community support and collaboration.

a) Daily Active Users/Monthly Active Users (DAU/MAU) ratio
The DAU/MAU forum metric is a key measure that tracks forum user engagement and retention. The DAU/MAU ratio represents the proportion of unique monthly forum active users who actively use the forum on a daily basis. In Q1, the average monthly forum DAU/MAU ratio was 22%, a ratio of over 20% is generally considered to be a good engagement ratio.

b) Logged-in forum views and forum posts
During the quarter, the forum page views for logged-in users increased to 13,726, which represents 43.87% growth in forum views compared to 2024 Q4 forum views (9,540). The total number of forum posts was 513, while the number of forum topics was 102.

Forum posts and forum topics

The number of new forum contributors has remained lower than what we envisioned, as we had only 14 new contributors in Q1. Our next step is to work collaboratively with various community personas and partners to encourage and support them to participate in the forum conversations.

2. Community members’ contributions.

a) Contributions that informed CHT improvements.
Shout out :confetti_ball: to @cliff, @magp18, @Gilbert and @bamatic for sharing and discussing CHT bugs they encountered with the community. Their forum posts helped to inform some of the CHT product improvements that were worked on by the community. The following fixes have been built to help resolve the challenges they faced:

b) Top active forum contributors
We would also like to recognize our Q1 top active forum contributors who constantly engaged other users by posting questions and insights, providing solutions, and clarifications.
