I’m the Director of Ladysmith, a feminist research consultancy that helps international organizations collect, analyze and take action on gender data. I’m also author of an award-winning book called Unjust Conditions: Women’s Work and the Hidden Cost of Cash Transfer Programs, about the gendered impacts of one of the world’s fastest growing programs in global health and development. The book was based on my PhD research at the University of Cambridge, where I was a Gates Cambridge Scholar. I’m currently a SSHRC Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia.
