Hello,
I work in the Digital Health Unit at the Swiss TPH in Switzerland. We implement Clinical decision support systems (CDSS) in numerous countries all over the world. Currently in Somalia, Chad and Nigeria to mention three.

We are looking for alternatives to the tech platforms that we currently use and I am about to assess CHT by migrating one of our CDSS and test it.

If we decide to go for CHT it would be used in several high profile projects across the world.

Hi everybody!

I’m Anna Dixon and I just joined Medic Labs as a data science researcher working remotely in Washington, DC. I’m excited to be exploring ways that data science and research can improve global health here with all of you.

When I’m not working, I’m usually chasing my kids or reading fantasy novels. I used to love traveling to new places (before 2020), and look forward to more hiking and experiencing new cultures again someday.

I love geeking out about all things data science, programming and machine learning and look forward to engaging with people here!

Welcome, @elelerai! We are excited to have you with us too. You are in great monitoring and evaluation, data science, and research company with @mourice @annadixon @helenelizabeth, and many others.

Welcome @elelerai , excited to have you onboard.

I read some of the friendly welcomes and thought I’d say hello! I’m Robert, a data scientist at DrivenData. We’re focused on mission-driven applications of data, with a particular expertise in machine learning. We are looking to expand our work in the healthcare provision space, and Medic and CHTK came up when I was researching organizations that are making a difference with healthcare tech. I’ve been browsing the repos, forums, roadmaps, and roundup slides and am super interested in what I’ve seen so far!

I was hoping to set up a brief informal conversation to learn more about your work, ways in which data may (or may not!) be used in support of your mission, and how we could potentially contribute. Please message me if you are interested. I totally understand if you are unable to at this time, and in any case, thank you for your great work! Mentioning a few people I noticed talking about data in this thread: @samuel @helenelizabeth @mourice @annadixon but would be happy to speak to anyone who has thoughts.

Hi Team!

I have recently joined as an App Developer at Medic. I have been wowed by the culture, mission, and people of medic. Being highly empathetic and helpful by nature Medic provides me an opportunity to “work and social work” simultaneously, which naturally doubles my happiness as in many other jobs this isn’t possible.

I am a computer engineer from Kathmandu University and have 8 years of experience in learning and leading in various tech industries like HealthTech, ECommerce, and Cloud. I believe that every problem is an opportunity and loves to dive in to solve tough challenges.

I am enthusiastic, open-minded, and a people person so feel free to reach out to me.I will be doing my best to move forward with this noble cause of developing community healthcare tools so that healthcare is accessible to everyone!
Looking forward to getting to know you people and build great things together
