Topics discussed

  • Helm charts being moved to cht-core. Do existing projects deployed with K8S need to make any changes?

    • partners need to run a provided and documented CLI command when switching from legacy helm charts to cht-core helm charts
    • partners can keep upgrading via the admin app until 5.0.0
    • legacy helm charts will not be removed, but will be in maintenance mode
    • cht-deploy needs updates to work with cht-core helm charts, and will likely not be updated due to low usage / engagement.

  • Supporting a new facility workflow

    • the workflow involves CHWs scheduling facility visits on a specific day of the week (for example, all immunizations on Tuesday)
    • there is a limited number of appointment spots available in a single day
    • one attempt at setting a weekly reminder failed
    • the facility could use its own EMR, or the health care providers could also be CHT users
    • if the EMR has an appointment feature, we could use that to integrate, otherwise most of the heavy lifting needs to be done in the CHT Configuration.
