# Exlude variable of Note in the Report

I have used “note” data type to display some information in the form  
As i have used around 6 notes regularly , so the automatically generated report has created around 6 variables.

Is there any way to exclude those variables in the report section ?

Hi @Sanjit7

I believe you can use the `hidden` type in this case: [Building App Forms | Community Health Toolkit](https://docs.communityhealthtoolkit.org/apps/tutorials/app-forms/#1-define-xls-surveyform-fields)

You can wrap all your notes in a group, and make the group hidden, there’s an example of this in the default config `pregnancy` form: [cht-core/config/default/forms/app/pregnancy.xlsx at master · medic/cht-core · GitHub](https://github.com/medic/cht-core/blob/master/config/default/forms/app/pregnancy.xlsx) (for example: `anc_visit_advice_note`).

Can you please try this out?
