# CHT Core Framework 3.12.0 development kickoff

With [3.11 released](https://forum.communityhealthtoolkit.org/t/announcing-the-release-of-the-core-application-framework-v3-11-0/1223) we’re excited to announce that [3.12](https://github.com/medic/cht-core/projects/22) work has already started!

Key improvements we’re planning are:

- Improve [Muting feature](https://github.com/medic/cht-core/issues/6737) so it happens on the phone without needing an internet connection.
- Make configuration more powerful by providing [more data to calculations](https://github.com/medic/cht-core/issues/6919).
- Detect and report when [users are unable to connect](https://github.com/medic/cht-core/issues/6607) to the server.
- Improve [telemetry with more granular data](https://github.com/medic/cht-core/issues/6915) and information about which version of the Android app is in use.
- Bug fixes.
