# Announcing the release of 4.22.0 of the CHT Core Framework

_We’re excited to announce the release of 4.22.0 of CHT Core Framework_

Following the CHT’s support policy, versions 4.19 and 4.20 are no longer supported. Projects running these versions should start planning to upgrade in the near future. For more details read the CHT [software support documentation](https://docs.communityhealthtoolkit.org/core/releases/#supported-versions).

## 4.22.0 Highlights

### [Support Centralized SMS Gateway of Nepal run by Department of IT](https://docs.communityhealthtoolkit.org/building/messaging/gateways/nepal_doit/)

The Department of IT, Nepal has been running the centralized SMS gateway for a few years. Initially, it was focused on sending Bulk SMS, but now it can send A2P (Application to Person) SMS via API. The goal of this functionality is to enable CHT Core to use this gateway to send SMS messages in Ministry of Health projects.
